The management of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board led by the Chairman, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige paid congratulatory visit to the new Chief of Staff to the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, Bashorun Akinwale Solomon Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle in his office today.
Speaking during the visit, Hon Akeem Ademola Ige appreciated Governor Seyi Makinde for appointing a man of the people, a grassroot politician, and a round peg in a round hole which reflects the Governor’s confidence in Wolekanle’s ability.
Describing the appointment as a well deserved recognition of Wolekanle’s leadership qualities and contributions to the development of Oyo State. Hon Ige said Wolekanle will bring his wealth of experience and commitment to good governance to bear in his new position.
He then informed Chief of Staff of the new feat recorded by the Pacesetter State, the 3rd Most Improved State in the implementation of Contributory Pension Scheme in recognition of Engr Oluseyi Makinde led government’s commitment to the well being and welfare of pensioners and implementation of Contributory Pension Scheme.
In his response, the Chief of Staff, Wolekanle appreciated the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board team led by Hon Ige for the congratulatory visit and promised to sustain the good relationship he has built with the agency and solicited for their support and cooperation.
He then congratulated the Acting Head of Local Government Administration of the Board, Alhaji Musibau Ladele, FCIPA on his recent induction as Fellow, Chartered Institute of Public Administration of Nigeria ( CIPAN).
Director of Finance and Supplies, Mr Adebayo Abiola, Director of Budget, Planning, Research and Statistics, Mr Oluwole Kehinde, Director of Education and Social Services Mrs Olabanke Adeyemo, Deputy Director of Administration and General Services Mr Abiodun Muraina, Accountant Mr Ayodele Aderibigbe and other members of staff of the Board were part of the Chairman’s entourage to the new Chief of Staff’s office.
